Report of the Sustainable Transport and Utilities Committee to the Council meeting of Thursday 25 March 2004

A meeting of the Sustainable Transport and Utilities Committee was held on Tuesday 16 March 2004 at 10am

Present: Councillor Denis O’Rourke (Chairman), Councillors Helen Broughton, Sally Buck, Barry Corbett, Carole Evans, Megan Evans, Ingrid Stonhill and Chrissie Williams.
In Attendance: Philip Carter, Derek Anderson, Penny Clarke, Darren Findlay, Ian McKenzie, Peter Hansen (Cathedral Square Stakeholder Group), Belle Melzer, Philip Richards (representing Richard Ballantyne), Stephen Collins (Mayoral Forum), Sean Rooney (Christchurch Tramway Ltd) and Graham Belliss (Traffic Consultant).
Apologies: Apologies for absence were received and accepted from the Mayor and Councillors Graham Condon and Barbara Stewart and for lateness from Councillor Sally Buck.
Councillor Helen Broughton retired temporarily from 11.48am to 11.50am.
Councillor Sally Buck arrived at 11am.Councillor Carole Evans retired temporarily from 12.32pm to 12.35pm.
Councillor Megan Evans retired at 11.58pm.
Councillor Ingrid Stonhill retired temporarily from 11.40am to 12 noon and retired at 12.20pm.
