1. APOLOGIES - Councillor Paddy Austin
(a) CHRISTCHURCH WINTER CARNIVAL
Mr Andrew O’Loughlin, Manager, Christchurch Winter Carnival, will present the programme for the 1999 carnival.
(b) THOMSON PARK - REMOVAL OF CONIFER TREES
Ms Chrissie Williams, Chairperson, Burwood/ Pegasus Community Board, will address the Committee in support of the Board’s recommendation regarding the removal of a number of trees from Thomson Park. Clause 3 refers.
Ms Sarah Beaven will present a submission opposing the proposed removal of the pine and macrocarpa trees from the northern and eastern perimeters of Thomson Park, Marine Parade.
