Book sale Xmas gifts
Make your Christmas shopping easy and inexpensive with the Christchurch
City Libraries’ annual sale. Tapes, CDs, magazines, talking books, and, yes, books for sale — all a maximum of $2 each, with children’s books ranging from 50 cents to $1. The sale is at the Pioneer Stadium on Lyttelton Street in Spreydon on Friday 5 December, 9am to 7pm, and Saturday 6 December, 9am to 4pm. The Book Sale was held there last year for the first time, and was a great success with over 36,000 books to choose from. |
