Replanting plan for Sth Brighton Domain

Interested South Brighton residents gathered at a public meeting on 27 May to hear about the Council’s proposed replanting plan for the South Brighton motor camp and the adjacent part of the domain. Around 220 pine and macrocarpa trees were recently felled in the domain, for health and safety reasons.

People wanting to let the Council know what they think of the plan have until Monday, 9 June. Copies of the proposed plan were delivered to homes in South Brighton from Bridge Street to the end of the spit and are also available at the New Brighton Library, the Shirley Service Centre and from the Civic Offices in Tuam Street.
