Book on Tribute sculpture

Story of the Steel is a book of photographs and stories about how steel from the World Trade Centre in New York was brought to Christchurch and transformed into the Tribute to Firefighters sculpture.

The central city artwork has already become a landmark for the Christchurch public and visitors to the city.

Written by Rosa Shiels and published by the City Council Leisure Unit, proceeds from sales of the book will go to the Firefighters Welfare Society.
