Avon River landscaping
Based on recent consultation, a study of the themes of the Avon River in the Central City is now available for comment. It features an analysis of the landscape character along the river and identifies areas that need to be protected and enhanced. A tree assessment and trout-spawning survey are also included. Copies are available from Our City or the Civic Offices or by phoning Suzanne Weld on 941 8490. Further feedback will go towards a strategy and design guide that should be out in the next few months. |
