Saturdays at Our City
An exhibition about the Great Air Race from London to Christchurch in 1953 is just one of many interesting and informative displays about the past, present and future on now at Our
City O-Tautahi, the wonderful heritage building on the banks of the Avon River at Worcester Boulevard. The Council facility is now also open on Saturdays, from 10.30am to 3.30pm. The Great Air Race exhibition features photographs, film, news reports, memorabilia and recollections of some of the people involved. Long-term exhibitions at Our City include Gifts to the City and the History of Reserve 10. |
