Look out for this year's official rubbish bag coupon. The City Council will send them out from the middle of April. People will have until the end of May to swap them for bags at supermarkets, or at Council Service Centres by 30 April next year.

The average household can swap the coupon for two packs of 27 bags each. There is an extra 27th bag in this year’s packs because the Council plans to deliver next year's coupons about a fortnight later than this year.
