A new updated version of the Christchurch Sports Guide is now available.

The free publication, produced by Christchurch City Council Leisure, is the third edition of the Sports Guide to be printed.

It provides a wealth of information for those with an interest in sport in Christchurch and covers the upcoming winter sports season (March to September).

The Sports Guide contains updated contact and events information for a wide variety of sports organisations, as well as information about funding sources, Council services and other sports providers.

Another useful feature is a map showing all Council sports parks — so you’ll never again have to drive around searching in vain.

Those with copies of the 2001 Winter Sports Guide should pick up a copy of the 2002 version, because much of this information will have changed since last season and more sports have been added.

Christchurch City Council Leisure has printed 50,000 copies of the Winter Sports Guide, and they are available free from all Council service centres and facilities, secondary schools and most sporting retailers.
