ECan extends time for bus ticket / fare survey


The regional council Environment Canterbury (ECan) is giving people more time to have their say on a new proposal for bus ticketing and fares.

ECan is responsible for public transport planning and regulation in the city and region. People interested in commenting on the scheme now have until April 12 to take part in the consultation.

Information about the proposal is available on the web, at www.ecan.govt.nz A link to the survey form and an outline of the plan is listed under New Stuff on ECan’s front page.
