City housing survey a success

City Housing has completed interviews with 1331 of its tenants as part of a survey to find out how satisfied tenants are and to identify ways in which the Council can improve the housing and housing services it provides.

Efforts were made to interview all 2060 City Housing tenants. In the end, more than half were interviewed.

Each interview took about 15 minutes, and in some cases people completed a postal survey and returned it.

Kevin Bennett, City Housing Team Leader, says that the response rate was very good, and most tenants who were at home when the interviewer called were happy to take part.

“We’re grateful to tenants for taking part, and the information received will be very useful in helping to determine how tenants feel about the level of service we are currently providing, and where we may be able to improve or offer an extended service,” said Bennett.

It is hoped that results of the survey will be available by the end of the month.
