New toilet block for Sign of the Takahe

A sketch of the new toilet block to be built at the Sign of the Takahe.
A new toilet block is to be built at the Sign of the Takahe at a cost of $88,250.

It will be placed in the Cracoft Reserve south of the Sign of the Takahe and partly built in Halswell stone.

The existing toilets on the corner of Hackthorne Road and Takahe Drive will be demolished.

The new block, measuring 6m by 4.5m, will be constructed with Halswell Quarry stone and weather-boards.

The toilet block will be similar in design to the toilet blocks at the Halswell Quarry Park and at the Travis Wetland.
