The results of the preliminary count for the poll of Christchurch City electors on the proposed union between Christchurch City and Banks Peninsula are shown below.

The official count of votes (which will include the processing and subsequent counting of the special votes) will start next Monday,and it is expected that the final results will be available by Friday 24 March.
