Rick Armstrong Motors Classical Sparks to go ahead tonight

After the postponement of Rick Armstrong Classical Sparks yesterday, it will go ahead tonight (Sunday, 5 March) at 7.30pm at Hagley Park.

The evening will begin with “From the Depths Sound the Great Sea Gongs”, a piece that will celebrate the coming together of Banks Peninsular and Christchurch City Councils.

The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.

***Diamond Harbour residents should not take the Black Cat ferry to the venue as the last sailing back is at 7pm.
