Blenheim Road deviation construction traffic delays

Drivers can expect disruption to traffic at the corner of Moorhouse and Deans avenues, Blenheim Road and Mandeville Street over the next few months because of work on the Blenheim Road deviation roading contract.

At times traffic in both directions will be restricted to a speed limit of 30 km/hr and may be reduced to a single lane which is likely to create delays for drivers using these roads.

The road work is likely to continue until Christmas. As the project manager is unable to accurately  define times at which the traffic will be slowed to a single lane, drivers may wish to take an alternate route.
