Section of Dyers Pass Road reduced to one lane

The section of Dyers Pass Road just below Victoria Park will be reduced to one lane for the next few weeks due to a slip that encroaches onto one lane of the road.

Uphill traffic had been directed through Victoria Park for much of this week, this will no longer occur. Automated signals will be in place on the road directing traffic as to when it is safe to pass.

The slip was caused by the high rainfall experienced by Christchurch earlier this week.
