Governor General to attend Christchurch’s ANZAC Day dawn service

The Governor General of New Zealand, the Honourable Dame Silvia Cartwright, will be present at Christchurch’s ANZAC Day commemorations tomorrow, 25 April.
Dame Silvia will attend the dawn service, which begins at 6.30am at Cathedral Square, to lay a wreath. Mayor Garry Moore will also lay a wreath on behalf of the citizens of Christchurch.
UNIBIC Australia, as well as Caffe L’affare, will offer free coffee and biscuits in Cathedral Square from 5.30am until the end of the Citizen’s Service, expected to be completed around 11am.
