St Albans Spectacular promises a sensational family day
28 February 2005
There’ll be a dazzling array of local activities on offer, from sports, to entertainment and yummy food, at the ‘St Albans Spectacular’ on Sunday 13 March.
The fun-packed family day will have something for everyone. For those with energy to burn, there’ll be top team games, horizontal bungy, sumo suits, and a demonstration soccer match displaying some of Christchurch’s finest talent. If you’re looking for a slower pace, simply chill out to the music and local performers, and chow down on some tasty kai from the varied food stalls on site.
The event will run from 11am to 3pm at St Albans School and English Park. In wet weather, the event will be postponed until Sunday 20 March.
The St Albans Spectacular is coordinated by St Albans Residents Association, in conjunction with Christchurch City Council Community and Recreation, with funding support from the Shirley/Papanui Community Board.
