New Diversity nights at Diverse Youth Cafe
2 August 2005
Looking for something to do on a Thursday night with other young people? Diverse Youth Cafe and Christchurch City Council are hosting a series of activities on Thursday nights for young people attending local high schools. The sessions will run for five weeks during term three.
The pilot programme, which begins on 11 August, is for young people aged 13 years and over who live or go to school in Linwood, Bromley, Phillipstown and Woolston. The line-up of activities includes 10-pin bowling, Laser Strike, Sing Star, indoor rock climbing, and a mystery bus trip.
Numbers are limited and the programme costs $10 for the term or $2 a session. This includes the activity costs and transport.
If you’re interested in finding out more or would like an enrolment form for Diversity, call Tania Smith, the Linwood Youth Worker, on 381 8619 or Community Recreation Adviser Diana Saxton on 941 6628.
