Showtime Canterbury PacePass has punters off racing and more…

27 September 2004

With record numbers expected for this year’s Showtime Canterbury, organisers have launched a new ticketing initiative, The PacePass.

As well as gaining access to five days of racing and all the events the A&P Show has to offer, PacePass purchasers go in the draw to win a trip for two to the Australian Open Tennis in Melbourne.

“PacePass gives visitors a hassle free way to enjoy all of the action of Showtime Canterbury without worrying about queuing to buy tickets,” says Rae Findlay, Event Manager of the Canterbury A&P Show.

A $45 PacePass gains entry for one adult to:

  • The New Zealand Bloodstock 1000 Guineas Day (Ladies Day)
  • Coupland’s Bakeries NZ 2000 Guineas Day
  • Canterbury Draught New Zealand Cup
  • Canterbury Draught New Zealand Trotting Cup
  • Lindauer Race Day
  • The Canterbury A&P Show
  • The Ballantyne’s Grand Parade
  • Wired and Wooley ArtWare Awards
  • The Bayley’s Polo Challenge

Only 10,000 PacePasses are available. To get one, people can either fill out the online order form on www.showtimecanterbury.co.nz or visit their local House of Travel, Showtime Canterbury’s strategic partner.

  • Showtime Canterbury runs this year from Thursday 4 November to Saturday 13 November.
