Explore Christchurch City on foot with Council's new brochures

If you're into walking this summer, pick up a copy of the hristchurch City Council's new walking brochures.

Christchurch Walking Groups has been updated and now lists 60 groups operating in the city, with something for beginners through to experience walkers.

There is also a new 24-page booklet, Heathcote River Walks, that features eight routes, including a longer walk following the Heathcote River from Beckenham to the Estuary. It costs $2 and is the pilot for a possible series of similar publications about walks in different areas of the city.

Copies are now available from your local Christchurch City Council Service Centre and from the ground floor desk of the main Civic Offices on Tuam Street.
