New Library Offers Children Creative Environment

St. Martins Children’s Library is relocating to Christchurch City
Libraries ’ newest
service, the South Christchurch Library.
St. Martins Children’s Library
will close on Saturday 9 August and reopen on Saturday 23 August as part
of the South Christchurch Library.
“The new facility in Beckenham will provide fantastic resources and
a creative environment for children of all ages and backgrounds to expand
their reading abilities and imaginations to greater horizons,” says
Hilary Renfree, Area Manager for Christchurch City Libraries.
“As sad as we are to say goodbye to St. Martins Children’s
Library, that has served the community so well since 1976, we’re thrilled
to progress into the new and exciting things that South Christchurch Library
has to offer, ” Hilary
Renfree says.
From 9 August until the new library opens on 23 August, reserves
placed by St. Martins customers may be picked up from Spreydon Community
Library.
All books may be returned at any Christchurch City Library.
