On Saturday March 1st, The Ben Morrison Quartet will perform pre

absolutely thrilled to have the Morrison Quartet as part of Classical

opportunity to recognize and showcase the immense talent this group
of four young men possess and I am sure that the estimated crowd

Hailing from Burnside High School, Ben and talented fellow musicians
Takumi Motokawa on piano, Michael Bull on bass and Sebastian Warren
on drums form the Morrison quartet, who have been playing together
for over two years. As winners of the Schools Chamber Music competition
in 2002, they have performed before audiences at Parliament and
at many private shows around the city.
Having played the violin since he was three, Ben is high demand
as a performer and his credits include playing at an Americas
Cup ball and as a support act for Cliff Richard at the Mission Bay

with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and Hayley Westenra. In
2002, Ben received a Totara Award from the combined Rotary Clubs
of Christchurch for his contributions to performing Arts.
