Kids In Town Every Thursday
Kids In Town, Every Thursday during term time in City Mall Amphitheatre, Cashel Street, 12 to 1pm. FREE
Every Thursday lunchtime the City Mall Amphitheatre comes alive with the talent of Primary and Intermediate pupils as they entertain the inner city business community as part of the Kids In Town programme, presented by Christchurch City Council Leisure.
‘Lately children have been performing all sorts of entertaining things’ says Events Team member Jo Eade. ‘We’ve been hearing quite a few original songs about the children’s schools, and there have been a lot of very creative costumes appearing too’
A guaranteed audience of proud parents are on-hand to support and take photos, and the performances bring smiles to the faces of inner city workers on their lunch break.
