Christchurch appoints new City Council valuer The Beckenham Service Centre on the corner of Colombo Street and Hunter Terrace will close on Thursday, 11 July. The Centre is moving to temporary premises at 148 Colombo Street. This is the red brick building directly opposite the intersection with Strickland/Somerfield Streets. The Centre will reopen to the public at its new premises on Monday, 15 July. Hours of operation will be 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. The Centre is relocating to temporary premises while the new Library/Service Centre and Learning Centre for South Christchurch is being built.
