Details of Christchurch City Council’s street works projects are now available on-line

At www.ccc.govt.nz/ProjectNotices, viewers can search on a street or park name and find out about any proposed, planned, current or completed activity taking place on that specific street or park

The information was launched on-line about 5 weeks ago, and currently has details on nearly three hundred projects based in the Council’s City Streets Unit. Tony Lange, Information Manager of City Streets, said that the Project Notices were put on-line so that the public would have greater access to information about street and park projects happening in and around the city.

“Regular updates of the site will ensure that the public knows what stage each project is currently in, from the proposal and consultation phase, through to completion of works”, said Mr Lange.

Visitors to the Project Notices site can get a description of the project (including background, status and timeframes), view maps, and find out who to contact for further information.
