High School Band to Entertain in Cathedral Square Free Friday Lunchtime Concert, Friday August 16th, 12.15 to 1.15pm, Cathedral Square. Cashmere High School Stage Band will perform this Friday lunchtime as part of the FREE Friday Lunchtime Concert series presented by Christchurch City Council Leisure. In a performance to appeal to all ages, they will offer a presentation of big band, swing, Latin American, classic ballads and pop numbers. 25 players are featured, including lead alto saxophone musician Luke Di Somma, lead tenor sax Linda Drummon, and lead Trumpet Matthew Tuite.
