NEW MAP OF CITY CYCLE ROUTES

A new map devoted to cycle routes around Christchurch will be published by the City Council soon.

Publication is a year earlier that expected but popular demand for the last map meant the 15,000 copies were quickly snapped up.

The new version will include up-dated routes, all new routes added since the last map was published and the routes planned for the next two years.

The 20,000 copies of the map will be free from Monday 24 September and available from the Christchurch City Council’s Civic Offices, Service Centres, libraries and local cycle shops.

Ground Effect Cycle Clothing, Environment Canterbury and the City Council have sponsored the map.
