Guitar Diva Karen Hunter Plays Cathedral Square

'Raw and gritty' to 'sensitive and inspired' are words that have been used to describe the music of Karen Hunter, a guitarist and songwriter well known throughout New Zealand who will be performing live this Friday lunchtime in Christchurch Square.
Shifting from acoustic café style to the dynamic passion of rock music Karen is as at home with a full backing band as she is alone, accompanying herself on guitar. Her latest CD is a collection of live tracks entitled ' Inside Out' and presents a mix of styles ranging from jazz-funk to reggae and folk, with disc one featuring solo performance and disc two with a variety of back-up artists.
