Deputy Mayor To Join Walk
Christchurch’s Deputy Mayor Lesley Keast will join the Kiwi Seniors national walk in the city on Tuesday 9 October.
The group, mainly 60 years and over and mostly from Marlborough, is walking from Cape Reinga to Bluff to promote health and quality of life for senior citizens.
The group will be leaving Christchurch on 9 October and heading for Burnham. Cr. Keast will join the walkers at the gates to Wigram Air Base from about 8am.
