FREE Friday Lunchtime Concert, Cathedral Square, Friday 30th 12.30 to 1.30pm
P.U.M.P aka Pacific Underground Music Production, will produce soul, funk, R n B and hip hop music spliced with Pacific beats and nuances this Friday in Cathedral Square.
Their CD Landmark has been described as silky smooth by Pavement magazine. The band supported Ben Harper in his Christchurch performance last year, and were recently featured at Tasi the Pacific Island Festival.
P.U.M.P have been heralded for their efforts to push forward the talents of local Maori and Pacific Islanders, and they have recently received funding to produce a follow-up compilation entitled Landmark II.
