Christchurch City Council Media Release 18 June 2001

What The Residents Have Said - Delayed

The release of results from the Christchurch City Council's annual Citizens' Survey has been delayed.

The meeting at which results will be released to the media will now be held in Conference Room B, third floor, City Council, Tuam Street, on Friday 22 June at 10am.

The results will include the beginning of work that is looking at social indicators.

More than 100 questions were asked in the survey of Christchurch residents in the past few months.

Questions cover attitudes to central city revitalisation, safety in the city, consultation with the City Council, parking matters, and whether residents think they are getting value for their rates.

The conference will be in Conference Room B, third floor, Civic Offices, Tuam Street, at 10am.

No copies of the survey results will be released under embargo before the media conference.
