TV2 KidsFest - Kids Aren’t Square
Friday 6th July 2001, Cathedral Square, 12 to 2pm, FREE
It’s time to get funky with TV2 KidsFest this Friday on Cathedral Square! Cool Stuff the Dog limited edition beanie toys will be available for sale at only $7.
70’s funk, boogie and disco band Puree will take to the stage with some fabulous classic numbers such as Boogie Nights, Car Wash, Dancing Queen and Disco Inferno. Their performance is always high energy, and guaranteed to keep you warm on a cold winter day! Deafening Whispers will play a variety of styles including pop, reggae, covers and originals. All of them under 15 years old and harking from Chisnallwood Intermediate, this young band has big talent. Rex and Polly the Dog will perform in between sets. Polly is an extremely talented little pooch, who can clown-it up with the best of them. Kids will be delighted at her antics. Bring the kids down to Cathedral Square for some great holiday entertainment.
