Ahoy Me Hearties …

TV2 KidsFest Black Friday Pirate Party!
Friday 13 July, 12.30pm to 1.30pm
Cathedral Square

Yo, ho, ho, it's time to dress in your best pirate costume, then swagger down to Cathedral Square this Friday to be in to win prizes.

The Natural Magic Pirate Band will perform songs, tell stories, and lead games with audience participation (weather permitting). All pirates present will be able to listen to the adventures of Captain Long John Knickers, First Mate Nudger, and Crackers the parrot as they swing from the mainsail and get themselves into some hot water. Children can also take part in a treasure hunt, and get their faces painted for free.

This free concert is presented by Christchurch City Council Leisure as part of TV2 KidsFest and is suitable for ages 3 to 10 years. We encourage you to dress warmly, and bring a cushion to sit on. Food vendors will be available on-site. If the weather is wet the show will take place in the Cathedral from 1.00pm.

See you in Cathedral Square this Friday me hearties - yo ho, ho!
