Summer Theatre presents Whose
Bard Is It Anyway? Friday 19 January to Sunday 4 February 2001 Daffodil Lawns, Christchurch Botanic Gardens |
Presented by the Court Jesters
in association with the Court Theatre, and directed by the spin of a wheel Whose
Bard Is It Anyway? will challenge even the most seasoned improviser with 90 minutes
of hilarious unstoppable, unpredictable, unscripted prose, poetry and song, that will have
the bard rolling in his grave!
The set (designed by Harold Moot) is an integral part of the production and will feature
Wills Wheel of Portent- the wheel will spin and the shows direction will
be chosen by the outcome of the spin.
Whose Bard Is It Anyway? will feature familiar faces from the Court Jesters
including: Simon Young, Greg Cooper, Paul Glubb, Nic Gorman, Luke Acland, and John Hudson,
along with a few less well known Court Jesters and one or two special guests. Each night
the six cast members on stage will leap headlong into the 17th century without a care,
using audience suggestions to create the greatest play never written.
Get the family together and head along to the Botanic Gardens Daffodil Lawns, for this
unique and hilarious look at Shakespeare.
