The Full Monty in Victoria Square!

The Telecom Twilight Movies Series, part of SummerTimes outside in the Victoria Square Ampitheatre, Thursday February 22nd, at 8.45pm. FREE

This weeks Telecom Twilight Movie is the British comedy classic The Full Monty, starring Robert Carlyle! Robert plays a fun loving, slightly irresponsible Gaz, who hatches a plan to launch a striptease act in order to earn some much needed cash for himself and his out-of-luck pals. The furtherest thing from everyone’s image of ideal exotic dancers, this unlikely strip act, proves to be highly entertaining for the local ladies.

The Telecom Twilight Movie Series is a new SummerTimes event, and is designed to bring the magic of the movies to the people of Christchurch, but with a special twist: audiences will get to enjoy these films outside under the stars!

The Full Monty screening will be the last chance for members of the audience to get the first stamp in their ‘Passport to a SummerTimes of fun’, in order to enter the draw for the brand new SEAT Cordoba, at Rick Armstrong Motors Classical Sparks on March 3.

Audience members are encouraged to bring cushions or low chairs, and a rug or jacket for when the evening cools down. Some food will be available onsite, and convenient parking is available at The Parkroyal or Farmers carparks. SummerTimes Passports will be stamped at the information tent.

Call 9416 840 during office hours to confirm screening, or listen to Classic Hits, 91ZM, or Newstalk ZB.

This event is made possible by Telecom and Christchurch City Council Leisure.
