Park Planting Hour Earlier

The community planting day at Thomson Park, Marine Parade, New Brighton, will start at noon on Saturday 9 September and not at 1pm as previously advised.

Six thousand native trees, along with other tree species, will be planted.

Entertainment will be provided and the planting marks the start of the redevelopment of the park along Marine Parade.

Residents need to take spades and gum boots.
