Help Available To Clear Trees
Christchurch residents having trouble clearing storm-damaged trees can now get help co-ordinated by the City Council.
People who want to remove damaged trees from private properties but cannot afford to do so, can ring the City Council on 941 8999.
The Council has appointed a special co-ordinator for this work.
All Christchurch Rotary Clubs are being asked to assist in the private clean up.
The Councils City Manager, Mike Richardson, said all efforts would be made to assist the clean up of private properties and he welcomed the efforts so far made by many people, including some contractors.
