Eureka Jazz Keeping up the Tradition in Cathedral Square
FREE Lunchtime Concert, Friday October 20, 2000, Cathedral Square.
Originally known as the Eureka Jazz Gentlemen, Eureka Jazz have played together for many years and specialize in a mix of traditional jazz and Dixieland sounds from the 1920s to the 1960s.
Eureka Jazz are comprised of Alan Marsh on banjo, Rob LeSueur on Bass, Tom Williams on drums, Iain Clark on clarinet, Butch Green on trumpet, and Murray Griffiths on trombone.
So popular that their 8 week stint at the Parkroyal during 1989 stretched out to 8 months, Eureka Jazz band will bring their stylish sounds to Cathedral Square this Friday at 12.30.
