Showtime Canterbury Presents Music in Cathedral Square
Canterbury Showcase Series, Wednesday November 8th, 12.30 to 1.30pm and
Friday November 10th, 12.30 to 1.30pm, Cathedral Square. FREE
This week the excitement of Showtime Canterbury comes to Cathedral Square with two concerts by well loved local musicians.
On Wednesday November 8th Janice Gray performs her special brand of jazz and blues, with a touch of humour and conversation sprinkled in here and there for good measure.
An all round entertainer and raconteur, Janice is a familiar face around the city, especially through her television programme, A D.O.G Show. She takes a break from this, and many guest appearances to join our celebration of the Canterbury region in style.
On Friday 10th, Pandemonium will again light up the Square with their dynamic percussion performance. Their last show was a huge success, bringing lunchtime city-goers onto their feet as they experienced dance rhythms and sounds from all over the globe.
The eight talented members of Pandemonium play everything from steel drums and marimbas, to viraphones, bongos and an African talking drum.
