The new $3 million Fendalton Library and Service Centre will be officially opened on Monday 3 July.
The Christchurch City Council building is due to be finished on the site of the old service centre in Jeffreys Road by the end of May. The old library in Clyde Road will close on 10 June and the shift to the new building will take place from 10-30 June.
The temporary service centre, in an adjacent park, will close on 30 June and staff will move into the new building on 1-2 July ready for the 3 July opening at 9am.
Events will be held in the first week of opening.
