Efficiency Author in Christchurch
American efficiency expert Amory Lovins will be in Christchurch tomorrow, Wednesday 12 July, to discuss a sustainable city.
Mr Lovins, co-author of Natural Capitalism and co-chief executive of Rocky Mountain Institute, a non-profit resource and policy centre, advises dozen of leading U.S. firms on efficiency innovations.
He will lead workshops from 9am to 3pm in the Christchurch City Chambers, Tuam Street.
The Commissioner for the Environment, Morgan Williams, persuaded Mr Lovins to visit Christchurch on his way home from a conference in Australia.
Mr Lovins will be discussing how to plan for a sustainable city.
