Another Hybrid Car In Town

Another hybrid car - electric and petrol - will be in Christchurch from tomorrow, Wednesday 13 December until Friday 15 December.

This will be a Honda Insight and any journalists keen to view it can contact Notley Carmody (Wed only) on 337 7263 and Paul McNoe (Thursday and Friday) on 337 7267 about arrangements.

Recently the Christchurch City Council had a Toyota Prius on trial as part of its move towards making the city environmentally sustainable.

After evaluation of the hybrid cars a report will be made to the Council about them and their possible use by the Council.
