Many of Christchurch’s municipal brass and pipe bands will once again entertain audiences in the Botanic Gardens on Sundays during the SummerTimes festival.

Performances by Christchurch’s municipal bands have been a popular feature of the festival for a number of years. The repertoire of each band ranges from traditional to contemporary pieces. The series offers an ideal opportunity to enjoy a picnic in the picturesque surroundings of the Archery Lawn, the children’s playground and the Daffodil Lawns while enjoying the performances.

The series begins on Sunday 30 January and runs through until Sunday 5 March. The schedule for Botanic Bands is listed on the following pages.
