Concert
featuring a dance showcase

The SummerTimes festival's Press Lunchtime Concert on Friday 5 February takes a break from live music to showcase dance.
The event will feature two local dance groups. The Sandra Gray Dance Centre has been operating in Christchurch for 15 years, going from strength to strength incorporating the changing styles of dance over that time. Their contribution to the Press Lunchtime Concert will be in the form of performances from ‘Cutting Edge’ and a new junior performance group.
The Scrambled Legs Dance/Theatre Company are well known for their comical, quirky works. Their performance of ‘Street Beat’ at the concert is a fusion of each performer’s styles, weaving together a dynamic and innovative experience. ‘Street Beat’ will feature Fluer de Their, Dayle Hunt, Sarah Franks, Andrew Shepherd and Shay Hoare.
