South Island Y2K Forum media briefing
Council / Y2K Reporters are invited to attend a media briefing tomorrow, Friday August 20.
The objective of the Forum is to outline effective methods for testing contingency plans along with communication links on 9/9/99.
This date is important to the Y2K programme as it is being used as a dress rehearsal to test communication links and contingency plans that will be used during the transition to the new millennium.
