Invitation To Lunch
This is an invitation to attend lunch with Spreydon-Heathcote Community Board members and local residents on 8 December 1999 at a new community garden.
Community Board members will be taking lunch at noon with Spreydon residents at 190 Strickland Street to launch the new community garden project.
The garden is part of the council philosophy that encourages the use of vacant land in communities. This has started in other parts of the city and has been successful in New York.
A sandwich and a cup of tea will be taken in the Strickland Street garden.
