Council in Negotiations with Power Supplier

The Christchurch City Council has selected and is negotiating with a single power company for supply of electricity.

The current electricity supply expires on 31 July. Tenders were sought and submissions closed on 11 June.

Of the five proposals received from three potential suppliers, one was preferred.

An announcement regarding the successful tenderer will be made when negotiations have concluded.
