The Christchurch City Council’s Community Services Committee today congratulated two Christchurch Students for their participation at a recent youth forum in Dunedin.
Andy Sales and Vanessa Eggers were accompanied by Council’s Youth Advocate Robin Moore at "Children’s Rights: International and National Perspectives", a forum organised by the University of Otago Children’s Issues Centre.
The pair joined a group of ten young people from Dunedin to answer questions from the floor. They fielded questions about youth consultation processes from an audience that included delegates from all over the world.
According to City Council Youth Advocate Robin Moore, the paper was well received and sparked many questions from the audience.
