INTERNATIONAL EXPERT HOSTS CLEANER PRODUCTION SEMINAR
Christchurch Businesses will benefit from a special Cleaner Production seminar on August 19th hosted by Swedish environmental expert Professor Don Huisingh.
Professor Huisingh, of the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University Sweden, is internationally recognised in the field of Cleaner Production, and well known for the enthusiasm and creativity he brings to his teaching.
In his seminar Professor Huisingh will demonstrate the many economic and environmental benefits of cleaner production with working examples from a variety of businesses around the world.
Cleaner Production focuses on pollution prevention through close monitoring of all inputs, processes and outputs to make efficient use of resources, minimise waste at source, produce environmentally sound products and maximise profits.
The Cleaner Production half-day seminar will be held on Tuesday 19th August from 9am - 1pm in the Dickson Room, Canterbury Centre.
